Regulations

The UNESCO-IICBA Teacher Education Network (TEN) has a Discussion Board that serves as an electronic venue for knowledge and experience sharing among African teacher education institutions. Both positive and negative experiences are expected to be shared among teacher educators.

The Discussion Board offers various options for discussions in terms of groups of participants. The grouping is usually done on the basis of broad areas of study. You can participate in any one or more of the discussion groups. Each group will have a moderator, usually the web-master, who will screen all messages before they are posted to make sure they are relevant to the given topic. Of course, we encourage and welcome a diversity of views. However, please keep in mind the following basic regulations:

  • Include your name in all messages that you post to the discussion.
  • Make sure that your message will not harass another person and that it does not represent the views of your organization or institution.
  • Be ware that you are the only responsible person for the accuracy and copyright permission of any content you post to a discussion. However, you authorize other participants in the Discussion Board to make personal and customary use of your materials.

UNESCO-IICBA retains the right to publish the messages posted in whole or in part. Please give us feedback so that we can better serve African teacher education institutions.
